Hypoallergenic Dog Breeds

Here is the honest version: no dog breed is medically hypoallergenic. Major veterinary and allergy bodies have repeatedly pointed out that all dogs produce dander and saliva proteins, which are the main triggers for dog allergies. Some breeds, however, shed less hair and dander into the environment than others, which can — for some people — reduce symptoms in practice. The breeds below are the ones popularly described as hypoallergenic.
